One hundred percent of donations to MSF UK come from private individuals and organisations.
This allows us to help those people in genuine need, wherever it is in the world and whenever it is needed.
Why your donation matters
“When you look around the globe, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed at the many situations where people have urgent needs.
"There are so many people affected by conflict, chronic crises and neglected diseases, as well as those who are unable to get the medical care they need.
"Private funding from people like you means that we can be flexible and responsive, reaching those most in need.
“In many of the places where MSF works, we need to be able to show that we are not being influenced by any donation we accept.
"During my time working as a doctor overseas with MSF, I have witnessed first-hand how important this financial independence truly is.
“Thank you for considering supporting us in this vital way.”

Partnership with People’s Postcode Lottery
“Contributions from players of People’s Postcode Lottery to MSF are the reason we’re able to respond to emergencies like COVID-19 quickly. At the same time, this independent funding allows us to continue to provide life-saving medical care for vulnerable communities across the world. On the basis of this medical work, we bear witness to the immense human cost of under-reported conflicts.”
Vickie Hawkins – Executive Director, MSF UK
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery have supported MSF through the Postcode Global Trust since 2013 and, up to the end of 2020, have raised an incredible total of £4,475,000 for our work. This short video, celebrating five years of our partnership, highlights some of what we have been able to achieve thanks to this flexible support.
People’s Postcode Lottery manages lotteries on behalf of 20 Postcode Trusts. People play with their chosen postcodes for a chance to win cash prizes. A minimum of 33 percent from each subscription goes directly to charities and good causes in Britain and internationally. Players have raised more than £700 million so far.
For details of the charities and good causes which are promoting and benefitting from the lottery draws, please visit www.postcodelottery.co.uk/good-causes/draw-calendar
It costs £10 a month to play and winning postcodes are announced every day. The maximum amount a single ticket can win is 10 percent of the draw proceeds. For details, please visit www.postcodelottery.co.uk/prizes
